Student Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering with Ronald McDonald House Charlottesville can be a rewarding experience for students.
Our families and staff rely on volunteers to make our Houses and programs welcoming.
We Ask Student Volunteers To:
Commit for 1 semester, with the option to continue during your studies.
Complete 2 projects or at least 10 hours during fall and spring semesters with a $500 fundraising target.
Raise awareness about Ronald McDonald House Charlottesville in your school community.
Commitments & Requirements
This program is for students age (12) and up freshmen, sophomores, juniors or seniors interested in supporting Ronald McDonald House Charlottesville. Students will have the opportunity to engage in unique volunteer opportunities, independent initiatives and raise awareness throughout their school community.
Projects & Initiatives
Organize pantry drives and Pop Tab collections.
Host activity nights at the Ronald McDonald House Charlottesville.
Organize Give-Back Nights at local restaurants and establishments.
Participate in the Meals from the Heart program.
Engage peers through speaking engagements with approved materials.
Organize fundraisers to support Ronald McDonald House Charlottesville.
